Question 1

Is my PDF stored anywhere?

Accepted Answer

No. Your browser extracts the text from the PDF on your device. Only that text is sent to our API to be structured, and only the structured numbers are saved. The file itself never leaves your phone or laptop.

Question 2

Is this medical advice?

Accepted Answer

No. FixMyLabs shows you your own numbers over time and suggests everyday food and movement habits. It cannot diagnose anything. If a value is flagged, or you feel unwell, talk to a doctor.

Question 3

Is it really AI? Which model?

Accepted Answer

Yes. FixMyLabs uses Claude by Anthropic to read your report, build your diet and workout plan from your own markers, and power the Ask FixMyLabs coach. Your PDF never leaves your browser: only the extracted numbers are sent. Everything it says is informational, not medical advice.

Question 4

Is it free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Uploads, trends, plans, streaks and reminders are free. If that ever changes, existing users keep what they have.

Question 5

Which labs are supported?

Accepted Answer

Any lab that gives you a PDF with text in it: lipids, HbA1c, fasting glucose, thyroid, vitamins D and B12, iron, kidney and liver panels, complete blood count, and more. Markers we do not recognise are kept with their own name so nothing is lost.

Question 6

Can I track my parents or kids too?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Add family members to one account: upload their reports and each person gets their own trends, plan and streak, sized to them. There is also a circle for friends — they see your streak and whether you checked in today, never your labs or your plan.

Question 7

Can I install it like an app?

Accepted Answer

Yes. On Android tap Install when prompted, or open the browser menu and choose Install app. On iPhone tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. You get push reminders and an icon, with no app store.

Question 8

How are emails sent?

Accepted Answer

You get a daily routine email and weekly or monthly recaps. Every email has a one-tap unsubscribe, and you can switch them off in settings.

Question 9

What about privacy?

Accepted Answer

Your account holds your profile, structured lab values, plans and check-ins. We do not sell data and we do not run ads. Delete your account from settings and everything goes with it.
